We offer a variety of services to help students, faculty, and staff locate and select high-quality academic information.
Chief among our services are our instruction sessions. One of our subject librarians will introduce your class to our most relevant resources for your specific class or assignment topic.
For more information about instruction sessions, contact Kristen Borysewicz, our information literacy coordinator.
Computer Labs and Stations
Our main computer labs are on the 2nd and 3rd floors, although we have computers available on every floor of the library. Computers are equipped with Windows, Microsoft Office, SPSS, common web browsers, and assorted other programs.
We also have three collaborative workstations for group work available in some of the study rooms. Each workstation is mounted on a mobile cart with a 46-inch display. The workstations include a wireless keyboard and mouse. A webcam is integrated into each workstation for video chat and conferencing. Additional software is available on Citrix.
Labs and workstations are open whenever the library is open.
For more information, including guest access to our computers, see the Computing page.
Printing and Scanning
Printing is available across campus using uPrint and Mobile uPrint. We also support cash printing. For printer instructions and locations, see our Printing page for more information.
We offer free touch-screen scanners for all to use. Specialty scanners are available upon request. Check out the Scanning page for more information.
Instructions to access our databases and online resources from off campus are available on our Library Systems Help Desk page. Due to vendor contract terms, we're unable to offer off-campus access to our online resources to anyone not currently affiliated with the University (that is, only current students, current faculty/staff, and emeritus faculty/staff have off-campus access privileges).
If you would like to access our resources on campus, stop by the Library to request a Temporary Guest Account to obtain guest computer access.
