This post was made with the help of the American Indian Studies Department, who recommended several of the titles listed. We've featured authors belonging to the Native Tribes of North and South Dakota to honor their histories and legacies for Indigenous Peoples' Month.

Crime Comedy Cinema
The Chester Fritz Library will be hosting their next movie night on November 18 at 7:00 PM! We will be screening Rian Johnson's Knives Out. Beyond that special event, we have plenty of more movies on the third floor that find the grimly comedic amidst crime and chaos.

International Open Access Week 2024
In 2023, we celebrated International Open Access Week with the theme of “Community over Commercialization”. This year is a continuation of that theme. Community over commercialization essentially focuses on how we can advance open scholarship in a way that’s inclusive, equitable, and relies on shared governance.
