Permalinks

Permalinks, also known as stable URLs or pURLs, are links to articles in databases. They do not change, so they can be used in web sites or emails.

Creating a Link to a Licensed Article

1. Locate the article in one of the library’s databases.
2. Look for a stable URL for the article. This might be labeled any of:
   • stable URL
   • stable link
   • durable link
   • persistent URL (PURL)
   • permalink
   • Get Link
   • Share
3. Use the proxy link generator below to create a link that you can use in Blackboard or through any other site.
