Gold Standard Science Executive Memo

President Donald Trump issued an executive order, Restoring Gold Standard Science, on May 23, 2025. Along with the OSTP implementation memo from Michael Kratsios, Agency Guidance for Implementing Gold Standard Science in the Conduct & Management of Scientific Activities, issued June 23, 2025, major themes associated with open scholarship and open access like reproducibility, transparency, collaboration, and integrity were reaffirmed.
