Computers and Network Access
Our main computer lab is on the 2nd floor of the library. The scanners and uPrint station are available here. There is also a smaller computer space on the 3rd floor of the library.
The labs are open whenever the library is open.
All our lab computers (including both PCs and Macs) are equipped with the following:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- SPSS
- Mathematica
- VLC
- Chrome and Firefox web browsers
- ArcGIS
Two of the Mac computers near the One Button Studio are equipped with Adobe Creative Cloud.
Collab Stations
Chester Fritz Library has three collaborative workstations for group work available in some of the study rooms. Each workstation is mounted on a mobile cart with a 46-inch display. The workstations include a wireless keyboard and mouse. A webcam is integrated into each workstation for video group chat and conferencing. Additional software is available on Citrix.
Wireless Guest Access
If you are using your own device and would like wireless internet access, you may self-register for a temporary wireless network account. You will need a mobile phone in order to receive your verification and sign-in credentials.
Temporary Guest Computer Access
Guests may request access to library computers by asking for a temporary guest account at the Access Services Desk on the second floor. You will need to provide a photo ID and either your email address or a phone number for verification. Guest access may be requested for 24 hours. If you would like to renew your guest pass, you will need to bring your photo ID and request a renewal.
Getting Help
If you need help with the computers, scanners, or printers, ask at one of the service desks on the second floor.
