- The Flood Calls project is a collection of Grand Forks 911 calls from the day of the Flood of '97.
- How many 911 calls are in the database?
- 2,014. However, 84 of these are still in the quality assurance process and have not been made available to the public as yet.
- What time span does the database cover?
- It covers the period from 4:30 AM, April 18th to 1:15 AM on April 19th (both of 1997).
- Where did you get the calls?
- The original recordings were supplied to us by the Grand Forks Public Safety Answering Point when they moved to a new, all-digital recording system in 2007.
