How do I find government documents?
Government documents are located on the 1st floor and are arranged by SuDoc call numbers, the classification system used by the federal government.
Use the Books+ search to identify documents this library owns from 1976-present and some older documents. To find additional documents published before 1976, try the documents indexes located in the Reference area, 2nd floor, West.
Many government publications are available in full text on the Internet. Consult the government documents libguide for a guide to locating digital government documents.
For materials neither in the library nor online, the library may be able to get them for you through interlibrary loan.
UND Depository Agencies
As a designated Federal Depository Library, UND receives copies of many government publications. However, UND shares depository status with North Dakota State University. Consult the following lists to determine which university receives documents from a given federal agency.
